Success Chronicles 📣 🌻 Share your wins with us
👀 And Inspiring Member Stories for September
Hiya 🌊,
Sharing your wins is a great place to start if you want to improve your PR. Big or small. Business or professional. You need to flex your publicity muscles.
Each month, I cherry pick a few of the paid subscriber wins to show you what is possible for your own hype.
Feel free to add yours in the comments underneath.

How can I hype you each week? Join my paid members, who get access to weekly PR Recipes, monthly petite directories of pitching opportunities, and personal essays about my midlife relocation from agency owner in London to solopreneur in rural France.
- followed my regional prompt to smash her own regional press and secure a photograph and listing for an event she was putting on. As a result, she has now been approached by a BBC radio producer who found the regional press and substack and is confirming a 45-minute slot.
- has used my pitch formula to smash her press for her Burnout book. Firstly, she was a DPS (double-page spread) in the i newspaper from a journalist request. You can read the article: “Signs you are at breaking point and how to fix it, according to an expert” here.
And she has been commissioned for a 1,000-word article for Stylist for World Mental Health Day.This supports my drum banging on the power of a great pitch. And it is a great example of using expertise to secure book publicity.
3. My fellow PR & comms pal
has written a guest article for Startups magazine on “Having a Substack – What founders need to know”. This is a text book example of weaving in some human interest into business expertise. It is not a listicle of lessons learned but considered points which showcases her expertise alongside personal anecdotes. And most importantly, it is the perfect audience match for her clients. Over to you, tell me your wins 🌻….
And bonus Hype points if you share your win with a post restack.
Here to celebrate 2-3 wins
1) Spotted my comments on Stylist earlier today - what employers need to do to support working mums 🙌🙌
2) After your workshop on speaking gigs a while back I advocated for an opportunity to be paid, that was a success but the time that went into that part lost me the gig. However, the event has come back round and I've got a spot! Speaking on confidence and imposter thoughts for a women's development programme
3) Not quite a win yet but hopefully in a BBC News piece this weekend. Not work related but relationship building in progress!
Congrats on passing the exam.. Yay! 🥳👏🎉
