Something to add to this: This morning I found out one of my speaking clients, who is booked multiple times a year, has a new book out next week — if we knew earlier we could have helped support it a lot better. Tell people you're already partnered or collaborating with!

Thanks for sharing Lucy - I am not looking to promote a book (at least atm), but lots of fab tips here. Your workshop with the LWS did prompt me to get some professional photos done, and so I have. Hoping to add these to my newsletter, resume, etc... soon.
And I remember that you mentioned that you leave a copy of your book in places like hotels during your workshop. Haha! I always look at the book shelf when I'm staying in a hotel.

Never beat yourself up for a delay, you will be ready when you are ready. And I believe long gentle launches for the win.
