PR is more than just getting into press. It is EVERYTHING you do to build your relationship with the public.
Elevate Your Profile, Grow Your Audience, and Boost Your Income
Hiya 🌊, I'm Lucy!
I love helping people like you Hype Yourself.
I’ve worked in the biggest PR agencies and for some of the biggest global brands before starting my consultancy in 2014 to make PR affordable for small businesses.
Today, following my midlife relocation from London, UK, to the Var in the South of France, I focus solely on helping individuals via my interactive newsletter and lives hosted on Substack.
I am great at helping solopreneurs raise their profiles, grow their audiences, build their brand, secure press and alternative income streams.
You can read more about me on my About Page.
I believe solopreneurs will leave the world a better place. I want to empower as many creatives as possible with the confidence know-how and tips to promote themselves effectively.
I also walk my talk. You will see me share my bts of how I’m trying to build a new flexible remote business here on Substack, about my midlife relocation and how another motivation for me to make this new business model work is to be present for my second child’s next open-heart surgery.
So why do you need to Hype Yourself?
Personal brand and self-promotion sound icky. I think they get quite bad press.
If we are going to borrow from big business, we know we need to be front of mind for our audience to purchase from us when they are ready.
As independent business owners, we are in a unique and special branding position, and our businesses are centred on ourselves and our values.
The magic and energy of a founder is infectious.
I want to help you bottle that and share your enthusiasm for creating your work to make getting out there fun. Your ideal audience can’t find you if you don't show them who you are and what you are selling.
My values are fun, family, creative, informative and equality and I would love for you to join me so I can get to know you more here.

Hi Lucy! Ive been following you for years, as you are 'kind of a big deal' in the FMCG camp! Excited to come on this journey with you! 💗💗
Hi - I’m Nina. Selfemployed since 2004, I’m helping companies - especially law firms and organisations – with their marketing communications. Some years ago I specialised on infographics and illustrations.
This year I opened up a second business - selling my abstract art. It was a decision for my health – I’m dealing with autoimmune deseases. So I set a window of ten years to empower the art business and then close down my other one. Art is what I would love to do for the rest of my life.
I’m very much looking forward to getting to know all of you, Nina
