Hiya ð,
Since moving to rural France, a dramatic reduction in takeaways and taxis was an unplanned consequence.
The few local takeouts mean you must phone (speak Frenchð¥¶) and then drive to collect (not my favourite hilltop activity at nightð±).
But a local takeaway has a kiosk desk by the exit door at our local supermarket.
They also have a sample dish to try a few things, maybe a dumpling or sushi.
If Iâm solo-parenting or it's just been a bit of a week, as Iâm heading out of the supermarket and I see their stand, I always think about how this is my dinner help for the day.
The final treatâwhenever I am there with my children, and Iâm taking a hot minute to decide, they immediately hand over a small packet of prawn crackers.
The supermarket with three is sometimes a trialling experience, so their patience with me wears thin by the time I choose yet another thing off the shelf.
This act helps give me a small window to choose what I want to buy, keeps me returning and solves a problem as they happily munch away, distracted by the prawn crackers.
This is what a good workshop can do for youâŠ
Service providers like Daniel Priestley or Chris Do offer free workshops as an introduction to their accelerators, and tech & product companies offer workshops to showcase how you can use their products.
It doesnât matter if you a chef, author, yoga teacher, designer, healer or a PR writer like me. A workshop can be a great way to:
ð¯ââïž connect at a deeper level with your audience
ð£ showcase your expertise and position yourself as a thought leader
ðª open doors to alternative income streams, higher fee workshops or speaking opportunities
ð a gift, like my prawn crackers, to your audience
If you are a paid member, we already have an introductory workshop for workshops class you can watch now.
But to really hijack your workshops for 2025 I asked Kirsty Lewis, founder of the School of Facilitation to do a deeper dive and share two exclusive sessions for my audience, designed to help you run workshops that truly connect and convert:
ð Session 1: Design Your Workshop â Tuesday, 12th November, 19:00-21:00
Discover how to create purposeful, engaging workshops tailored to your audience.
ð Session 2: Hype Your Facilitation â Tuesday, 26th November, 19:00-21:00
Learn how your language and body language impact engagement and outcomes, and master both with Kirstyâs expert guidance.
Each session is a stand-alone experience at £123 + VAT, but if you book both, theyâre just £197 + VATâperfect for those who want to go deeper. (Each class has only 30 spots.)
Why do I care about this?
Everything I share here on Hype Yourself is designed to help you build your brand and get yourself out there. Workshops have been incredible for me:
ð to unlock new business opportunities
ð° earn an income whilst I pivot from agency owner to writer
ð©ð»âð« upskill as a teacher and learn how to hone my expertise
ð« reach more people on my mission to help others hype themselves AND grow my audience
I want the same for you in 2025.
You have less than two weeks to secure your spot ð here.
Letâs make workshops work betterâfor you and for everyone youâre here to serve.
Keep on hyping.
