Phew. August felt long. I'm sending a solidarity salute to anyone who has been juggling work and family commitments, particularly my fellow solopreneurs with young kids.

❤️ I’ve set an audacious goal to hit 1,001 paid subscribers. Here is how the journey is going:
I turned on paid subscribers on October 22nd 2023;
- I did it! I finally hit the Top 50 in business at 47 - ⬆4 this month
- Paid subscribers: last month, I had 389 paid subscribers and today, I have 391, but with new subscribers coming in, the revenue is still up even if numbers are the same
- Free subscribers: last month, I was 8,530, and this month, I’m at 8,888 ⬆358

This makes my stomach churn, but I am taking the opportunity to HYPE MYSELF as a fragrance writer after receiving some really great feedback in August that has left my heart soaring. To be able to write about my experiences and something I love, to inspire people to explore (and enjoy) new things that they have not considered before, and to hear that what I wrote had an impact... it is lovely. Apologies for tooting my own horn.
