This week marks two years since I arrived in France on a spousal visa.

Technically, I have lived here longer, as I beta-tested for three months in winter 2021.

A soft launch to check it out before hard launching.

Having secured three winters under my belt, the cold winter rainy days were not the hardest.

I don’t want to write a post that only discusses how difficult it is because, in truth, the positive outweighs the negative, so here are some of the surprising bits.
