If you are more of a promotion on the fly person that is ok too. This can be a list that you refer to when your mood takes it.
Calendar dates
There is a relevant national day for every business. Have a google and find yours, then make a plan to leverage it.

š Did you know there is almost a national day, week or month for everything? The most important question this can answer for a journalist is - Why now? If you have been struggling to get a press pitch picked up, then attaching to a relevant moment can be the difference between your story landing
ā° If National Doughnut š© Day feels a bit obscure, have you considered a date to hijack using your best secret weapon? YOU and your expertise. Many of the Hype Yourself community have commented in reaction to a calendar date (see more in the examples below)
